How to clean a paddle brush

How to have a neat, clean and hygienic paddle brush for an everyday use. Ask any women and her biggest nightmare will be a bad hair day. And to steer clear away from these real nightmares women resort to many helping tools and techniques. However, the most trusted helping tool is the paddle brush. But have you ever realized that these brush apart from giving our hair luster they consume a lot of dust, oil, moisture and germs as they are always kept in open. It’s mandatory to clean up your paddle brush twice every month for a lustrous and healthy hair. Here are some tips:

  • Take a pen/pencil and start sliding it in the paddle brush under the accumulated hair. Slowly pull up until the hair starts to loosen; slowly remove the hair. Keep on repeating until your brush is clean.
  • Once you are done doing that, take a big bowl in which the bristles can be completely soaked. Now add some warm water in the bowl with a teaspoon of baby/mild shampoo and stir well. Now soak the paddle brush in it for about two hours. It will remove the dust, oil and all the unwanted particles.
  • Remove the brush and rinse off the remaining water and pat it dry or dry it with the help of a drier.
  • Once dried, again soak your brush in a bowl filled with warm water and a pinch on baking soda for an hour. This works as a disinfectant.
  • Pat dry your brush and once it’s completely dried you have a brand new brush there
